Did I fall asleep? – Panic Room open The Dollhouse

The Panic Room, located just south of London in Gravesend just east of London, open their newest room on 30 September, and at an entire new site!

Handily it’s just down the road from the old location (which remains open with their existing three games), but this game promises something a little different, though nothing to do with the Whedon TV-show:

“You and your friends wake up inside a gloomy and grim basement. You have been chosen as the next victims of a deranged killer with an obsession for dolls and mannequins known for stripping the flesh off of his victims and much worse.
A grim and haunting tale with many twists and turns to get your heart racing, blood curdling and adrenaline pumping.
His collection grows day by day and night by night, will be become his latest victims? Can you find a way out where so many have failed before you?”

What’s different about it? Well:

“The Dollhouse is a room specifically designed to not only be a great escape room but also it is a horror room. Although it doesn’t contain live actors, it does contain certain items that may be disturbing to some individuals.
Due to the content this experience is recommended to be rated 18+, however if accompanied by a consenting adult then 12+.
The Dollhouse contains some gore, nudity, morbid themes and interactions and claustrophobic passages.”

Probably just the right side of scary to not put us off!

There are also plans to open two more rooms at this location by the end of the year, bringing them up to a total of six!

The Panic Room is an oddity in enthusiast circles, as the owners are quite active on social media and such, and all reports are that the rooms are great, but despite being very close to London, none of us reviewers have ever got our arses in gear and covered them! We’re hoping to rectify that quite soon!
